A Barbara Barry beige wool and copper silk Shakti weave rug. One of our most popular and enduring Barbara Barry designs, the Tempo rug is handcrafted in the finest silk with Himalayan wool accents with a pile height approximating 0.75cm. This oversized one of a kind area rug was hand knotted in Nepal using our Shakti weave. A custom favorite, the Tempo rug infuses any setting with subtle luxury, movement and sheen. The wool color of this Temp Apricot rug is a warm beige that accents the copper silk, resulting in a subtle contrast between the two colors and fibers. This custom sized rug measures 160cm " x 265cm.

Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
