A transitional Shakti weave floral rug in brown, the Cottonwood design graces the floors in a network of vines and leaves, an intricate motif inspired by the beauty of nature. Cottonwood Palmsap was hand-knotted in Nepal of Tibetan wool and silk using our Shakti weave which has a pile height of about 0.75 cm. The wool field of the Cottonwood Palmsap rug is a light brown with vines of uncut loop pile in beige that carve their way through the design and accented with gold silk blossoms. The combination of wool, silk and cut and uncut loop pile create a textured and elegant work of art.

Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
