Inspired by the enriching flow of loss and rediscovery, the soothing design of Bedaya works well in a variety of settings. Like the rediscovery of the beauty of Pompeii or the terracotta soldiers, the design of Bedaya illustrates the gentle removal of the effects of time to reveal the beauty underneath. This one of a kind was production prototype for the rug that became Bedaya Shale and is made in India with 100% wool.

Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
