An elegant and minimalist Barbara Barry Shakti weave rug. Back to basics, Barbara Barry's Shoji rug relies on minimalist design and the finest materials and composition. The Shoji Fig rug was hand knotted in Nepal with marbled Himalayan wool and streaks of silk using our Shakti Weave. The pile height in this design is under.75cm. As with all of our designs, the Shoji Fig rug is made with the highest level of social and environmental responsibility, you can rest assured that no child labor is ever used in our designs. This Shoji Fig rug is a warm taupe with copper silk accents. The minimalist quality of this rug is sophisticated and works with just about any room design. Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
