Julfa is an extraordinary traditional Armenian rug featuring a central medallion among floral motifs and eloquent symmetry. This rug was hand-knotted in Armenia of 100% wool using our Tabriz weave which has a pile height under one cm, similar to our Tibetan Shakti weave. Julfa Olive Mahogany is a majestic color combination of olive green and maroon purple, a rug that will draw attention to the floors. This rug is versatile in regards to where to use it in your home, it will add grandeur to any formal living room, color to a bedroom, or complete a study. This version of the design has been hand sheared for a shorter pile.

Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
