A classic Shakti weave, this handmade Tibetan design was inspired by a stained glass window of a cathedral. This traditional rug design upholds a classical look while exhibiting an uncharacteristically delicate feel. Cathedral was handcrafted in Nepal of 100% Tibetan wool using our premium Shakti weave with a pile height of about 0.75 cm. Cathedral Skylight has a light brown border with accents in yellow beige and pastel orange, and blue panels that create an effect of looking at a clear blue sky through elegant stained glass.

Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
