An illuminating Barbara Barry Shakti weave handmade rug. Designed by Barbara Barry, the Starlight rug features a field of elegant, radiating stars that will brighten any room. Starlight Peridot was hand-knotted in Nepal in the finest Tibetan wool and silk using our premium Shakti weave. The pile height is around 0.75 cm and has an irresistible soft, smooth finish. This design has a dark beige wool field with a subtle yet illuminating pattern of silk star bursts, adding a golden honey luster to this contemporary design.

Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
