A subtly layered Barbara Barry Shakti weave rug in light brown, Barbara Barry's Clean Cut design is just that, a clean, minimalist design that is subtle yet eloquent, handcrafted of the finest materials. Clean Cut Tobacco was hand-knotted in Nepal of Tibetan wool and silk using our Shakti weave which has a pile height around 0.75 cm and a luxurious finish you can’t help but touch. The field is constructed in rows of light tobacco brown with a layer of dark brown between each row. The border is grey with a purple undertone with a thin inner border of gold silk.

Our extremely handmade rugs are made with as much care as possible. When choosing a rug, please be aware that slight pattern changes may happen, but the rug will still look beautiful! In other words, a 3x5 may be slightly different than a 12x16.
Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
